You can grow your faith in yourself in many ways. Read. Study. Ask advice from people who have already done what you want to do. Take small steps, and you'll gain poise as you accomplish each of them.
Remember how things were in grade school? You mastered simple addition and subtraction before you were ready for multiplication and division.
We do well when we move from the basic to the more complex. Expecting to be proficient right from the start can lead to discouragement when you fail. See failure as a teacher. When you ask yourself what you can learn from it, you strip it of its power over you.
Certainty also comes from God. He believes in you more than you believe in yourself.
