No time to spare! Let's get started...

May's Inspire-O-Gram focuses on gratitude. Practicing gratitude every day can turn even the stinkiest life around.

Don't think so? Well, here's a brand new poem I wrote about gratitude:

It coulda been worse

Banged my head
on the kitchen door,
tripped and fell
all over the floor.

Broke both arms.
But did I curse?
Just grinned and said,
"It coulda been worse."

Lost my job to something new.
They said
"This robot
is smarter than you."

But did I cry?
No, just the reverse.
I grinned and said,
"It coulda been worse."

Tree fell on me
with an awful sound.
Smashed me three feet
into the ground.

As they hauled me away
in a shiny black hearse,
I looked down from heaven and said,
"It coulda been worse!"

Now there's a guy with a positive attitude.

But seriously, gratitude can make a world of difference in your life.

Learn how in our main article, by clicking here...

Hand-in-hand with gratitude is thankfulness. The conscious act of being thankful, of expressing your thankfulness, keeps you from taking things for granted.

How can being thankful bring about real change your life? Our second article tells how. Just click here to read it...

This issue's inspirational quote is too long to memorize, but too true to forget:

"Be thankful. Cultivate an "attitude of gratitude." Thankfulness is much more dependent on attitude than circumstance. When you feel the lack of what you don't have, thank God for what you do have! At any time, there is more going right in the life of a committed Christian than there is going wrong. It's just that the "wrong" makes a lot more noise than the "right."
    Jim Stephens

Once again, we end this issue with The Rut Disruptor, Inspire-O-Gram's exclusive tool for change. Give a few moments of serious thought to these questions:

  • What do you take for granted that you should be more grateful for?

  • Have you told a relative or friend lately how grateful you are for them?

  • Do you silently say a prayer of thanks every single time before you eat?

  • Do you thank Jesus as often as you should for sacrificing himself for your salvation?

Wow! Our time together went fast. I'd like to thank you for subscribing and look forward to your next visit at the site: www.inspiration-for-singles.com

Hoping you're thriving,
