Do you want to be loved?

We all do. As singles, we often believe that our whole life would fall into place if only we could find the right person to love us.

But love doesn't start with another person. It starts with the Holy Spirit, living inside you. If you haven't felt that love yet, it's because you haven't sought it there.

This is not narcissistic love of yourself. It's love of God, who lives inside you, a believer. When we love God, he teaches us how to love him and how to love others. It also means he will teach you to love yourself, in a healthy way.

Maybe you don't think you're lovable. But you're wrong. God loves you. By surrendering yourself to his love and taking the risk to love others, you take on an attractiveness that has nothing to do with hair, figure, cosmetics or clothes.
